Nyali Relief on Its Way
By Allan Kai
Nyali Member of Parliament, Hon. Mohammed Ali, alias Jicho Pevu today had an impromptu meeting with the Deputy President, Hon. William Ruto at his office in Nairobi.
Sources close to the MP say that help is soon on its way for Nyali residents as the corona virus outbreak seems to have taken root in the area which is deemed to be the epicenter of the disease in Mombasa.
This comes at a time where 17 more cases have been confirmed in Kenya 12 of which are from Mombasa County and 5 in Nairobi, bringing the national tally to 320 confirmed cases.
In addition, popular retail outlet in Mombasa, A-One shut its doors when it was alleged that an employee tested positive for the corona virus.
The MP’s move to seek assistance from the DP comes as no surprise, given that Ali has been a vocal supporter of the Deputy President and is the voice of the DP in the coastal region.
