Health CAS Mercy Mwangangi has sent a stern warning to residents of Mombasa to take the Corona Virus pandemic more seriously than they currently seem to take it.
In a press briefing where it was announced that eight more cases have been confirmed and one death recorded, Mwangangi asked Mombasa residents to take extreme precaution to prevent further spread of the virus.
According to the Ministry of Health, Nyali constituency has the most number of cases at 11, followed by Mvita and Kisauni both with 7 and Changamwe recording 2 confirmed cases bringing the total number of cases in Mombasa to 27.
Today’s MoH report brings the total number of corona virus cases to 270 and sadly the deaths have risen to 14.
