Elevator pitch Training Event in Mombasa Talks series.

Do you have a business or a business idea you want to implement? If yes then raising capital is one of the key elements you will have to master for your business to be successful. One of the key factors in business is an expression of what your business is about to either a potential client or investor in what is popularly known as an elevator pitch.

Close the Gap Kenya, Boost your Business & Sav Skills Limited host a monthly meet-up series, Mombasa Talks. This month’s episode on Elevator pitches was presented by Sidra Pasta, a business coach with Close the Gap.

The event involved self-rating on how best your current elevator is, before and after the presentation. It was strengthened further by practical sessions in which attendees got 2 minutes to pitch to other attendees. It was a great opportunity to network and exchange contacts for the attendees.

The presentation by Sidra included the description of an Elevator pitch, tips to a great elevator pitch, and the do and don’ts of Elevator pitches. It included tips like having the audience in mind as you structure your pitch and not crossing the thin line between being confident and showing off.

It was a fruitful event for those in attendance maximized this opportunity to network over snacks and coffee after the event. The next episode of this monthly series will be on 19th March 2022, same venue same time.
